NEED TO TRY - PADDLE BOARDING 

Here's something to clear your Monday morning blues.

I dabbled in paddle boarding in Noosa over summer and literally, everyone was doing it around the sound and in Laguna Bay. 

Paddle boarding was so relaxing and one of those fashionable sports that keeps you fit but doesn't feel like exercise - how good! 

Somehow need to get paddle boarding back in my life.

BE THE CHANGE

Here's a little Tuesday thought starter for you. 

Something that has been on my mind for some time now. 

CHANGE

Even though I am saying change is "happening," a lot of those aspects have been also personal decisions - making it happen. Sometimes in your life you need to embrace change that is happening around you. This is the motto I am taking on for the next few months. There are a lot of exciting changes happening in my life at the moment and I am loving it. I've found the best way to cope is to embrace what's going on and try to tailor it as best you can to yourself. I'm literally wearing it around my neck to remind me.

Would love to share Naomi Watt's outfit choice for 2013s Oscar Awards. I know it's a few weeks passed now but it's rare for me to still think about a red carpet dress after I've trawled the fashion blogs and trashy magazines in a frenzy to see the showcase of the best and worst dressed style icons.

The dress is by Armani Privé. 

This piece accentuates and flatters perfectly on Watts. She just looks divine. I love.

Circa The Prince 

The trendy and relaxed vibe of Circa creates such an encompassing atmosphere, your own table feels like your own world. There's a jazzy beat throughout and fantastic artworks hanging 
on minimalistic walls. 

To celebrate booking in to get married at Circa with my fiance, we had our anniversary dinner there earlier this year. To get a real feel for what Circa has to offer we couldn't go past the chefs selection menu to get a full scope of what's on offer. 

Let me take you through what we had

So yes, we were pleasantly stuffed by this stage but, wow, all the items on the chefs menu were divine.

I was particularly impressed with the delicate style of the selection compared to how the dishes sounded on the menu. 

It was great to tap into such an extensive wine list from the sommelier, the pairing was really harmonious with the dishes presented to us. The wine was literally treated like an extension of each dish. We loved that we were able to have tastes of the wine from all around the world too, great wine list. I loved the the story of dessert - the waiter explained that, the chef and the sommelier collaborated and crafted a dessert based on the Japanese  Green tea umeshu wine which was the perfect finish, it was light and refreshing which consolidated the whole selection so nicely. Which evidently wet our appetite for a post meal cocktail at the bar. 

We both came away from this gorgeous meal to say that every dish was a true showcase of the produce selected. Although each selection had a lot of elements to it they were perfectly paired to present the hero of the dish as best it could be presented which made everything so delightful. 

Such a special place for us, can't wait to get married there next year.

BACK TO WORK STYLING CHALLENGE

I have loved every minute of Paula Joye's Lifestyled back to work style challenge. It's really injected some ful into each day around the office. There was a theme for each day of the week - Monday Corporate, Tuesday Skirt, Wednesday Colour, Thursday Mini, Friday Mufti! Here are the outfits I styled on my Fashion Ladder... which I can't live without.

CORPORATE MONDAY // Round neck singlet with a stud feature on the neckline, w a simple silk black pant, a silver-white slingback heal and oversized tote to keep my worklife in and funky cuff jewellery to break up and compliment the corporate look w bangle watch.

SKIRT TUESDAY // Pastel pink cap sleeve blouse w gold sparkle should and neon trim. The skirt is a geometric neon and cream print w black waist trim. Paired with a rose gold collar, an Oroton cuff in a dusty pink, sherbet watch and black chunky platform shoe. Then clutched a tan and white carry-all for a soft day look.

COLOUR WEDNESDAY // Life w bird lilac dress w a citrus neon bomber from watson and watson. Knotted necklace w Scanlan and Theodore purple cuff and little chained mini purse. Then trotting around in my rag and bone boots. Hump day is over!! 

MINI THURSDAY // Neon shoulder & black mini shift w a black rose gold necklace, beige & metal cuff w neon sherbet watch. The mini black studded purse and w a black chunky black heal tied the look together w a light silk blazer for the office.

MUFTI FRIDAY // Neon peplum w feature studded and torn jean w simple pearl neck chain and coin. Paired w the beloved sparkle ankle boot and tan carry all.
