Calling all Melbourne Foodies

The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is such a fun time of year to celebreate the wonderful things Melbourne has to offer. I always find that each year Melbourne discovers a new way to offer a little more in terms of creativity and excitement for your senses. For me, there is nothing better than being amazed or 'wowed' by a new concept, food styling idea or a little something that you can take home with you and apply to your own social life.

This picture started that little bit of excitement in me today - it's also Friday and can't wait to sip on a cocktail this evening.

I thought this concept was amazing, these gorgeous retro basins are connected to a cocktail keg.

Don't the orange slices contrast so well with the pastel colours of the basins. I especially love this as my lovely Nana has one of these basins at home too. I might convince her to have a cocktail with me!
