Coffees in the 'burbs

C O F F E E . I N . T H E . 'B U R B S

On my recent house hunting journey with my fiancé  we've found ourselves in suburbs that we haven't explored for the on trend coffee scene. The weekly journeys have had me whizzing through Centre Road, Melbourne, which has presented two cafés leading in their field, 'Merchants Guild' and 'Little Tommy Tucker'.

Centre Road has a bustling vibe that has called for this level of café for some time now. There are patrons pouring in and milling out the front for the worth-the-wait experience of a really good café by today's standards. I would have to say that the area doesn't present itself as highly as the bar setting areas - South Melbourne, Richmond, Hawthorn, Malvern, Prahran, CBD and the North of Melbourne.
It's time for Bayside and the inner suburbs to catch the F# up.
